Kansas City Newborn Photographer | Swade Studios | Making your Newborn Session Unique

One of the things I love about being a newborn photographer is how each baby has its own unique qualities and each family has their own special characteristics. I embrace finding ways to highlight those features. It might be a season or holiday you want to include in your photo shoot such as a warm autumn setup with pumpkins. Perhaps you work in construction and want to incorporate that into the session.

Sometimes you just want their precious face with a tiny golden amber headband and their little pink cheeks. Or a mother’s tender embrace as she kisses her newborn. Maybe a little pearl or feather will add that dainty touch to a newborn’s face. Or a simple swaddle of a soft blanket next to their skin is all you need.

This family brought in several items to use for her session. Luckily she was a great sleeper so we were able to do several different set ups. 🙂
