Wow, what a week it has been. We moved last weekend into our new home and we are loving it! We had been living with my in-laws this past year with most of our belongings in storage. I was also working out of a storage space. While not ideal we made it work, and I think it worked rather well. We are still getting some final things in order around the house, but it is almost done.

I also now have a home studio, yay! I’ve already had a couple clients over and a couple more this week. I even have an office now too. I don’t have to have my desk in the dining room or living room. 🙂

I am working on getting caught back up on editing and emails after a week spent mostly away from my computer.

Well now for an adorable little newborn share. 🙂

Is it still August? It has not felt like it these past few days. I have actually worn long sleeves and been comfortable. Not a common thing for an August day in Kansas. No complaints after the crazy long heat wave we had. Maybe the grass will start growing again!

My daughter started 1st grade on Monday. She started at a new school and so far is loving it. Yay! Also we will be moving in less then 2 weeks. Double Yay!! I’ll post more about this at a later date. We will be in the Overland Park area and I will have a studio space there. Can’t wait!!

I have an exciting day tomorrow – I’m starting the day off early with a shoot, then in the afternoon I’m suppose to get my new camera in the mail! It will probably come just in time to check it out for a few minutes before heading to my daughter’s new elementary school for meet the teachers night. Then we will head over to our new place to sign some papers. 🙂
